Small class sizes guarantee an intimate setting and personal attention,and with guaranteed regular spot for you. Class runs for 50 minutes, focuses on technique, stability and core strengthening while sculpting and toning both the arms and legs with the use of Reformer, V2 Max Plus, TRX, Barre, Stability Balls, Stability Cushions, Flex Bands, Fitness Circles, Toning Balls, Foam Roller, etc. for additional challenge and variety.
We encourage beginners to complete a private reduced rate introductory session before taking the group class to cover the basic principles and essential exercises.
Registered group classes run 10 week term/period rotations with only 4-6 people per class. Register early to reserve your spot as classes fill quickly.

All prices for group classes are subject to 13% HST.
A one time $25 registration fee applies to the first time registration/new to Pilates by Bernadette.
Payments are due in full term prior to booking confirmation and/or prior to the start of a renewal term.

A great mat base work out with a mix of everything. An effective, intense core and whole body work out that incorporates various props: Halo, medicine balls, fitness circles, toning balls, foam roller and many more. Each class will be different, challenging and always fun!
TRX Pilates Seals (with TRX Suspension Training)
Pilates on the edge!!! A perfect union of Pilates and TRX Suspension training. Strength training and sculpting using your own body weight giving you a well-rounded awesome workout. So get ripped and suspended!
Total Energy Barre (with the Barre)
Fun, pretty powerful and dynamic workout with the use of the ballet barre and lively music, incorporating full body with intense dance moves with focus on core, leg strength and balance giving you a long, lean, strong and graceful body. Not just for ballerinas and, requires no experience so everyone is welcome.
Reformer Plus (with the Reformer/V2 Max Plus Equipment)
This intimate class combines traditional and modern Pilates Reformer and Cadillac equipment exercises for a dynamic and full body workout that is perfect for improving posture, strengthening the core, and bringing balance, flexibility and stability to all of the joints of the body. This class will occasionally incorporate select small props for more fun and challenge. All levels welcome!

Now you can try it at Pilates by Bernadette through private, semi-private sessions and group class under the class name "TRX Pilates Seals!” It’s a 55 minute intense workout incorporating the TRX® suspension trainer straps.
The program was
designed exclusively for Pilates by Bernadette clients.It incorporates current biomechanical principles
of Pilates, and general fitness concepts. Its focus is improving functional strength, improves flexibility,
range of motion, co-ordination and balance.
It’s an “ all core all the time” training therefore core strength is necessary in order to complete a 55
minute suspension workout. If you are new to Pilates and TRX, a Private session is mandatory before
registering for a class.
What is Total Energy Barre? Total Energy Barre is a high energy, dynamic, fat burning workout that combines elements of Pilates matwork, dance, cardio and athletic conditioning exercises as well as integrating light weights/ small equipment. It incorporates full body,
flowing and intense movements to condition and define the muscles and the strength like that of an athlete, and develop the length of a dancer while increasing joint flexibility. It is available to all fitness levels for those who want to have fun while sculpting their thighs, toning and firming their buttocks, strengthening and flattening their abdominals, and defining their arms.

Pilates Swing (Golf Conditioning)
A golf conditioning class focus on sharpening areas in strength, flexibility, balance, and power from the ground up. Its emphasis is on increasing focus and body awareness, isolating crucial core muscles and combining the elements of strength with flexibility while incorporating challenging moves with the use of hand-held Toning Balls and/or your own Golf Clubs. So work on your Pilates Swing to get that extra advantage on the green.
